Chadwick Boseman. A Tribute to the Awesome King T’challa

All hail King T’challa. The King of Wakanda will live forever in our hearts. Boseman, you were not only a great actor but a great human being too.

Chadwick Boseman was really great as a person as held the vibes around him peaceful. Any person who knew him personally was always positive about him.

Everyone knew Chadwick was a very wise person and just like his roles in movies like 42, The Express: The Ernie Davis story, and especially Black Panther, He was a real-life hero too.

Chadwick not only was an actor but also a writer. He used to write plays too. He was the Acting industry’s one of the kindest, wise, and mature artists.

So, we should now head to the Inspirational Biography of King T’challa as we must know a bit of him before learning from his life.

Brief Biography

Chadwick Boseman was a single child in his family of three, his mom, Carolyn, and father Leroy Boseman. He was born on 29th November 1976 in Anderson, South Carolina, USA.

Just like any other kid, Chadwick was a sports lover. He used to play Basketball in his high school days. He also wrote his first play, “crossroads” in his high school.

Later on, He went to Howard University, Washington D.C. With a Bachelor of Fine arts in directing, Chadwick graduated in 2000.

Phylicia Rashad was one of his teachers and she helped raise funds so that Chadwick Boseman and some other students could attend the Oxford Mid-Summer Program of the British American Drama Academy in England.

Chadwick used to live in Brooklyn and worked as a drama instructor in the Schomburg Junior Scholars Program at the start of his career.

Chadwick Was a Great Actor and Writer too.

Chadwick Boseman wanted to write and direct but He also wanted to study what an actor goes through while shooting in order to relate to his actors while directing them for their comfort only.

See, which director would want to understand an actor’s perspective? But no. Chadwick Boseman didn’t come around to do business but yeah, he came around with his passion.

Chadwick moved to L.A for pursuing his acting career in 2008. Chadwick started acting on stage with many productions. He won an Audelco Award in 2002 for it.

But here’s one of the things, we love about him, He still wasn’t stopping, he was also writing and directing plays.

Chadwick Boseman appeared in many of the T.V shows too such as in an episode of the Third watch (his First T.V role), Law & Order, Lincoln Heights, and more.

In 2007, He produced a Short Film, Blood Over a Broken Pawn, and was honored at the Hollywood Black Film Festival in 2008.

And Finally in 2008, he appeared in his first feature film, The Express: The Ernie Davis story. Chadwick’s Breakthrough role came with the 2013 film “42”, where he played Jackie Robinson, a baseball star.

Chadwick Boseman gave the audition twice for that role but there were 25 more actors that were in major consideration for the role.

But Brian Helgeland, the director of the movie liked Chadwick’s bravery and cast him as Jackie Robinson.

Rachel Robinson, Jackie Robinson’s widow said that Chadwick’s performance was like seeing her husband, Jackie again.

In 2014, Chadwick played James brown and did all of his dancing and singing too. That performance was a confirmation that Chadwick Boseman could do it all in his own style.

Here Comes the King T’challa.

Finally in 2016, Chadwick Boseman Signed a Five-Picture deal with Marvel Cinematic Universe for being casted as Black Panther for the MCU.

It was really a surprise to see a new and cool character in Captain America: Civil War as it was all unexpected.

You know, Captain was chasing + protecting the Winter Soldier from the Police but Suddenly a Strong and Sexy character shows up against the Winter Soldier and that blew our Minds.

In 2018, Black Panther showed up after great anticipation by people all over the world. It became one of the highest grossing movie of that year along with Avengers: Infinity War.

And that is from where most of us got to know him better. He became a Household name just like Beyonce or Michael Jackson.

Chadwick also stated that, He used to pray to God to be casted as Black Panther in MCU before finally, nailing it.

His faith in God earned him the respect he deserved.

The Illness and Expiration.

Well, we don’t know much about his dating life but sources claim that he dated Taylor Simone Leward since 2015.

The both got engaged around the October of 2019 and after a few months, also got married before he died on 28th of August, 2020.

Chadwick Boseman died of Colon Cancer. He was diagnosed with stage III Colon Cancer in 2016. He never spoke publicly about his fight with cancer.

Even during the treatment, with ongoing surgeries and Chemotherapies, he continued to work in movies like Da 5 bloods, Marshall and the yet to be released on Netflix, Ma Rainey’s Black Boytom.

On August 28th of this year, Chadwick died at home due to Colon Cancer Stage IV.
